H.S.A. NEWSLETTER – MARCH 2009

The Spring has sprung and the H.S.A are starting to think of EASTER and the warmer weather.  We held a meeting a couple of weeks ago.  To check out the minutes go to our website.  The main points/actions from the meeting were:
-    We are setting up a GIFTAID account – so if you’d like to give and get some tax relief watch this space – more details to follow.
-    There will be an EASTER EGG RAFFLE like last year, so watch out for the tickets in book bags over the next couple of weeks.
-    We are going to start reviewing possible OUTDOOR CLASSROOMS.  We will be doing some research over the next few months visiting other local schools with similar facilities, enabling us to sample the quality of different manufacturers products.
-    It was agreed to raise the price of biscuits and cakes at COOK4BOOKS to 20p & 30p each.

.

Our recent PANCAKE EVENT raised £83.  Thank you for buying and particular thanks to those tossing and selling!

TREASURER
As Alison will not have children at the school from July she will be standing down as Treasurer.  Thank you Alison for all your hard work. The H.S.A. can not be a registered charity without all 3 committee roles taken.  If you would like to help keep the H.S.A. running by standing as Treasurer please let us know.

Our kind regards
Alison (Treasurer), Mandy (Secretary) and Maria (Chair).
